Jim’s ’51 Ford

51 Ford hot rod

Jim saw our write up in Hometown Hot Rods and decided it was time to do something with the old Ford he had in the driveway. It is a pretty rusty start but it will be a great tow vehicle to take his motorcycles on vacation and pile up miles.

The chassis was built with a Heidts Mustang II that is welded into FrameUp fabbed front rails. In the back Dutchman Motorsports 9″ rear end swings on Hot Rods to Hell truck arms and Ridetech bags and shocks. Power is from a GMPerformance RamJet 350 and a Keisler T45. Stainless Steel Brakes at four corners will bring it to a stop. We fabbed the floors, firewall and EMS supplied the sheet metal patches.
